Encouraging Students to Bend, Not Break.

Individualized Plans
for High School Students,
Transfer Applicants and Students Returning to College

College rarely follows a straight line. Sometimes it zigs and zags. Whether applying for the first time, making a change, or starting over, I help students and families navigate the twists and turns with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

What I Do

COLLEGE SEARCH & APPLICATION STRATEGIES

For high school students ready to start their college journey. I help students build a smart college list, write authentic essays, and make confident, informed decisions

GUIDANCE FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

For students seeking a better fit. We take a hard, honest look at why you're ready to move on, and build a strategy for applying to the right next place.

COACHING FOR A RETURN TO COLLEGE

For students taking time away from college. Whether you're on medical leave, academic suspension, or just figuring things out, I help you use your time productively and return with clarity and strength.

That's okay. Most families aren't. Let's Talk!

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

 College is not 13th grade.

WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?

Some very strong students get to college unprepared for the academic rigor, freedom, and social pressures. They fail courses, face academic dismissal, disciplinary concerns, medical leaves - an overall disruption in attendance, unable to persist and finish in four years . . .

HOW WE CAN SOLVE IT

I can help a student more fully prepare for a smooth transition from high school to college. For an individual returning to campus after a leave of absence, we will create a self-directed plan to maximize their time away from campus, and prepare for a successful return. Through coaching, I teach effective academic strategies, positive personal wellness habits, and necessary soft skills for a satisfying undergraduate experience.

I mentor and advise students through their first semester back on campus—guiding them toward forging meaningful connections with peer groups and the right faculty and staff at their chosen institution.
